Thank God that a weak ass surf/skate shop who self proclaimed themselves as "Tallahassee Premiere skateshop" (at the mall?) brought back the skate scene to Tallahassee. I guess having a skate shop (strictly skateboarding) for 18 years, building a free public skate park, raising money through events for the park, and sponsoring some of Tallahassee's best talent is not supporting our scene. How clueless nonskateboarders can open up their rookie mouths about things they know nothing about is disrespectful. When we started Phaze in 1992 we set out to be different and bring something unique to our scene. All you other new surf/skate shops should do the same, EARN YOURS. There's nothing original about straight up copying another shop and acting like your the shit. You always be the shop that came after Phaze. Phaze One forever!

I thought ever day was Go Skate Day? I'm trying to figure out what to do on go skate day. I can't "officially" have a contest that day at the park but maybe we can have spontaneous games of skate happen at the park and maybe prizes will be given? Again, not official.

Gaines Street Destruction

As you already know, the city is doing construction on Gaines street. There is a small gap that is not marked. This is the entrance to the shops for now. Hope to see you soon. By the way, we just got new order of SB and the new PROD 2.5 is ridiculous. Holla At cha shop.

We just got in some Matix tank tops and crews. So Fresh and so clean. We also got in some sample size 9 Vans at $3o apiece so holla at cha shop.
Also trying to put a contest together and need skaters input. I want it to be a different skate spots in Tally and not at the park. The new generation needs to remember that street skating is done on the streets and you should go out looking for new spots or riggin your own. Let us know.

Hours

We had to shorten the hours at Phaze because of the destruction being done to Gaines St. We close at 7 pm daily except Sunday which closes at 6. But as always, call before you come out.

Contest

So we want to have a contest away from the park and on actual street spots. Was wanting everyone to vote for 4 spots in town where it could go down and later move to the next spot. Any suggestions?

Phaze One Featured in Naysayer FTK Ad

Phaze One is the Featured Shop in the Naysayer Skateboards ad in the new FTK Mag with Phaze One rider, Pete Belancsik, who also rides for Naysayer, hucking a tre flip across the tennis court gap here in Tally.

2010!!!

It's been a hard year so far and we're only 2 weeks into it. I just wanted to let all the heads know that we appreciate all the support over the last 17 years and we hope this one will be a great one for all.
